Local 791 has a full time political and legislative director who is responsible for a variety of political and legislative functions.
Local 791s Political & Legislative Department is actively engaged in working with elected officials at all levels of government
to ensure the right decisions are made on issues that affect the quality of life of our members. Elected officials make decisions
on issues that affect our jobs, wages, working conditions, and our benefits. The Local 791 Political and Legislative Affairs
Department performs the following functions:
