Announcement of the Retirement of

Local 791 Business Agent Mike Fox

January 8, 2021

 

Dear Local 791 Members,

         

I am writing this letter to inform you that Michael Fox has announced he will be retiring effective March 1st 2021.

Mike has been a member of this Union since 1970. He was a Union Steward for 10 years at the Shaw's Distribution Center in East Bridgewater, later becoming the Chief Steward for 6 years at that location. In 1990 Mike was appointed to the position of Business Agent, where Mike has served for the last 32 years. Mike also served as The Director of Collective Bargaining, a position he has held since 1994.

 

Mike has been an outstanding Union Representative all of his career, he will be missed by his co-workers, and all of the Members of Local 791. No matter what the assignment, Mike always gave it his all.
